The moment that nobody expected
The funeral proceeded normally. Family, friends, and neighbors mourned the loss of a child who, it was reported, had died of natural causes. The coffin was open so everyone could say their final goodbyes.
It was then, in the middle of the priest’s prayer, that several witnesses noticed something strange : a slight movement on the girl’s face. Before anyone could react, a live rat slowly emerged from the body’s mouth , causing screams, panic, and confusion in the chapel.
The priest, shocked, stopped the ceremony , while some attendees ran out of the room. Others couldn’t believe what they had just seen. Some even thought it was some kind of curse or supernatural sign.

Forensic experts consulted after the incident explained that it’s possible a rodent entered the coffin at some point during the night , especially if the body was laid out in a home or other location with less-than-ideal conditions. The body’s natural decomposition can attract animals such as insects and, in extreme cases, small rodents.
However, for many of those present, the experience was so disturbing that they still struggle to sleep peacefully. Some neighbors claim that the girl’s soul was not at peace , and that what happened could be a manifestation of something beyond the natural.
