A traffic stop in Indiana resulted in a deadly confrontation involving Huttle and a deputy from the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office, during which the deputy discharged his weapon, fatally wounding Huttle. Officials have verified that Huttle was in possession of a firearm, although additional information has not been released. The deputy involved has been placed on administrative leave with pay pending the outcome of the investigation.

 

Huttle, who held the belief that the FBI was responsible for orchestrating the Capitol riot on January 6 and claimed that “actors” with advanced training were involved, has garnered attention amidst ongoing discussions regarding the repercussions of the attack and the pardons issued by Trump. Authorities have extended their condolences to Huttle’s family.
