and nightly newscasts. She also hosts “Enfoque 39,” a program that delves into political and social issues affecting the Hispanic community. With over two decades in journalism,
García has reported on significant events such as the 2004 Athens Olympics, Hurricane Katrina, and the 2012 Mexican presidential elections. Notably,
she was the first U.S.-based journalist to cover the 2017 Mexico earthquake live on both Telemundo and NBC platforms.
