Two Young Dallas Girls Die Together in Texas Flood

Two young girls from Dallas, Lila Bonner (9) and Eloise Peck (8), were confirmed dead on July 6, 2025, following the devastating flash floods that struck Central Texas on July 4. The girls were best friends and cabinmates at Camp Mystic in Kerr County. They went missing along with other campers during the flood.

A third Dallas girl, Hadley Hanna, remained missing as of July 6. Lila’s family confirmed her death on July 5, and Eloise’s family did so the following day, asking for privacy as they mourned. Eloise’s mother described her as a kind, animal-loving child who was loved deeply by her family.
