Decades later, she says her world was upended when Sati allegedly confessed that Necla had been adopted after a stillbirth — and that an American woman named Sophia, terrified of the fallout from an affair with Donald Trump, handed over her newborn in a hospital “baby swap.” Necla claims Sophia even showed Sati a photograph of Trump at the time.
Ozmen insists she is not chasing scandal or money, only the truth. She has asked courts to compel a DNA test and says she believes Trump is “a good father” who will not reject her if the results confirm her story. Turkish judges have already dismissed her case for lack of evidence, but she is appealing and has sent petitions to courts in the United States, determined to force an answer to the question that has haunted her late life: who is my father, really?
