Had It Coming’ — Republicans Get Massive Revenge On Adam Schiff

GOP’s Blackburn Says Democrats Fear Kash Patel as FBI Director Due to His Knowledge of Russia Probe

Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) suggested in a recent Fox News interview that Democrats like Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) are strongly opposed to the idea of Kash Patel leading the FBI because he is familiar with their involvement in the now-debunked Russia collusion narrative during Donald Trump’s presidency.

“I think they’re afraid of what Kash knows — particularly about Schiff and others involved in the Russia investigation,” Blackburn told Fox News host Charlie Hurt. “He knows the inside story and could expose information they’d prefer stay hidden.”

Hurt agreed, saying Patel is committed to transparency in Washington, something Blackburn said many in Washington fear.

The conversation shifted to Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a former Democrat now aligned with some Republican views. Hurt noted how former Democrats like Kennedy and Tulsi Gabbard working with Trump infuriate the left. Blackburn agreed, saying Democrats want to punish them by delaying or opposing their nominations.

Blackburn praised Kennedy’s potential leadership at the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), saying he will address issues like locating missing migrant children and reforming agencies such as the FDA, NIH, and CMS. She named collaborators like Dr. Mehmet Oz, Dr. Marty Makary, and Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, all of whom have criticized the federal COVID response and are expected to support increased transparency.

Dr. Bhattacharya, a Stanford professor and critic of COVID-19 policies, was also involved in a Supreme Court case, Murthy v. Missouri, where he alleged government censorship of dissenting views. The court ultimately ruled against him.

Kash Patel, a former federal prosecutor, served in multiple intelligence and national security roles during the Trump administration. He was also a key aide to Rep. Devin Nunes and contributed to the 2018 Nunes memo, which criticized the FBI’s handling of surveillance on Trump’s 2016 campaign.
