BREAKING: A second atmospheric river is on the way to hit Washington State

BREAKING: A second atmospheric river is on the way to hit Washington State. Many areas targeted are still overwhelmed by historic flooding. With rivers still running high and the ground fully saturated, this next round of rain could rapidly worsen flooding, trigger mudslides, and force new evacuations.

Residents are urged to follow emergency guidance as conditions continue to deteriorate.

Please keep everyone in your thoughts in Sumas, Everson, Nooksack, Lynden, Burlington, Mount Vernon, Sedro-Woolley, Snoqualmie Valley communities (Fall City, Carnation), Skykomish, and low-lying areas across Skagit, Whatcom, Snohomish, King, and Pierce counties as they deal with this next round of catastrophic flooding.
