Donald Trump Has Two American Flags Installed In Front Of The White House

President Donald Trump has installed two monumental 100-foot American flags, one each on the North and South Lawns of the White House.

Trump took to his Truth Social account to share the news, nothing that the grounds had lacked proper flagpoles up until now.

The President said his personal funds are covering the installation expense, emphasizing the high-quality of the poles.

“They are tall, tapered, rust proof, rope inside the pole, and of the highest quality,” he continued. “Hopefully, they will proudly stand at both sides of the White House for many years to come!”

Trump Is Leaving His Mark On The White House

Earlier this month (June 9) workers reportedly broke ground to begin paving over parts of the historic Rose Garden.

Photos from the early stages of construction showed significant changes to the White House grounds, where a grassy area is being excavated and sections of a limestone border, originally installed by former First Lady Melania during Trump’s first term, are being relocated.

Trump explained that the former setup of the Rose Garden wasn’t always favorable for walking.

“You know, we use [the Rose Garden] for press conferences, and it doesn’t work because the people fall,” he said. The terrain can be wet, and the soft ground can be an issue for some, Trump added. “Women, with the high heels, it just didn’t work.”
