Nelly Furtado is using 2025 to not only show herself some love, but also share a heartfelt message with her fans.
The 46-year-old music icon – who raised to fame in the early 2000s with hits like ‘I’m Like a Bird’ and ‘Maneater’ – took to Instagram to showcase her radiant natural beauty.
“HAVE A BODY NEUTRAL 2025, BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, LOVE WITH EVERY INCH OF YOUR HEART. THANKS FOR ALL THE MEMORIES THIS YEAR,” she wrote, inspiring her followers to celebrate themselves and embrace individuality in the new year.
In her candid post, Nelly opened up about navigating the pressures of beauty standards in the public eye.
“This year I became aware of the aesthetic pressure of my work in a brand new way, while simultaneously I experienced new levels of self-love and genuine confidence from within,” she wrote.
She also shared her experience with online misinformation, explaining that she had taken legal action against those falsely claiming she used certain products or underwent cosmetic procedures.
Nelly made it crystal clear that her beauty routine is refreshingly simple and free of invasive enhancements. “I have never had any face or body surgeries or augmentation, besides veneers on the top row of my teeth, quite recently,” she stated, adding that she’s never used face or lip fillers or injections.
Instead, she credited her youthful glow to an “old-school” skincare regimen she began at 20, guided by a trusted facialist.
