Keeping a washing machine clean often feels like an overlooked chore, yet regular maintenance can save hours of effort later and help the appliance run more efficiently. Dirt, detergent residue, lint, and moisture gradually build up inside the drum and filters, creating odors and reducing performance. One of the most effective and affordable solutions is white vinegar. This common household ingredient helps dissolve mineral deposits, remove soap buildup, and eliminate unpleasant smells.
