Samantha Mitchell, 34, captured footage of her three-day-old infant, Nyilah Daise Tzabari, lifting her head and crawling — achievements that are generally expected to occur several months later. “I have spent over 20 years around children, and I have never witnessed anything like this,” Mitchell shared with Kennedy News.
Nyilah was born three weeks overdue on March 2, 2023, weighing a healthy 7 pounds, 6 ounces. Mitchell mentioned that her mother encouraged her to document this unusual occurrence. “No one would have believed me if I hadn’t recorded it,” she remarked. “Even my fiancé, Ofer, required evidence.”
In the viral video, which has been viewed millions of times on TikTok, Nyilah is seen supporting herself and crawling forward — actions typically observed in infants aged six to nine months. “Her strength has been remarkable since day one,” Mitchell stated.
By the time she was 18 days old, Nyilah was rolling from her belly to her back. At two months, she started rolling in the opposite direction, and by three months, she was already able to stand with assistance. “She refuses to sit,” Mitchell chuckled. “She is incredibly determined.”
